With the signing of a transitional agreement between the EU and Switzerland, new rules will apply to Swiss institutions in Horizon Europe as of 1 January 2025: Swiss institutions can apply as beneficiaries for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025 call. It is no longer possible to involve a Swiss institution as a host for a Global Fellowship during the outgoing phase. Switzerland is to be fully associated from 2025, subject to the signing and validation of the corresponding agreement by both parties. However, transitional arrangements will allow Swiss applicants to participate in the calls for proposals of the 2025 programme year.
